Roots of Infinity
The transformational power of observation
Roots of Infinity transforms a simple tuft of roots into a portal to the infinite. In this semi-realist work, I inverted the roots—a choice reflecting the limitless nature of perspective. The green hues, accented with subtle pinkish tones, invite viewers to find beauty in the ordinary.
During my solo exhibitions at Rome’s Torretta Valadier, one visitor aptly described my work as “an admirable journey from the insignificant into the infinite.” Critic Annamaria Marchesini of the Associazione Amici di Monte Mario noted my ability to transform simple images through imagination, colour, and light, turning a mere shrub into an image brimming with joyful vitality.
This painting holds personal significance in my artistic journey. My teacher, Raoul Middleman, once commented that I had made something out of nothing—a sentiment that resonates deeply with my intent. Roots of Infinity encapsulates this essence, celebrating the extraordinary within the everyday. For those who appreciate art that elevates simplicity into profound expression, rendered with a harmonious flow, this piece offers a unique perspective.

Need help with framing?
For EU & UK Customers:
Custom framing is available for my full-size prints at many online stores like Desenio. For standard sizes, you’ll find ready-made frames available online from retailers like IKEA, Amazon, and Habitat.
For U.S. Customers:
These prints follow A-series sizes, common in Europe, but you’ll find plenty of options for framing in the US:
• A3 (12” x 16.5”) fits well in a 16” x 20” frame with a mat.
• A2 (16.5” x 23”) works well in an 18” x 24” or 20” x 24” frame with a mat.
• A1 (23” x 33”) is similar to 24” x 36” (a standard poster size).
Many frame stores and online services like Framebridge, Simply Framed, and Michaels offer A-series frames or custom matting to fit these sizes.
